ADO Electronic Industrial (Australia) Pty Ltd ACN: 055 169 741 Full Warranty Procedures Before any customer wishes to return a faulty item for warranty purposes, the customer has to obtain an ADO warranty form either from ADO directly or downloading the form available from the Warranty and RA section on the ADO web site. Once the customer has obtained an ADO warranty form, the customer must fill in all the necessary details required on the form. The customer must also read all the conditions for service and acknowledge that they have read and understood all the conditions by signing the form. Once the form has been filled out it is to be faxed to back to ADO using the fax number stated on the ADO warranty form. Upon ADO receiving the ADO warranty form the warranty department will verify that all necessary information has been provided and the form has been signed. If all the information has been provided the warranty department will then check the validity of the return. The warranty department will check to see if the item is still under warranty and is purchased from ADO. If all the above conditions are met then the warranty department will issue a Return Authorisation (RA) number that will be written on the form and then faxed back to the customer. The RA number will not be issued unless the ADO warranty form has been signed. Once the customer has received the fax of the ADO warranty form with the allocation RA number, the customer can then send the goods along with a copy of the faxed ADO warranty form with the RA number. Two points to note: 1. Goods returned with no accompanying valid RA number will be immediately rejected and returned to the customer with the freight cost charged to the customer. 2. The RA number is only valid for one month from the issue date stated on the ADO warranty form. This is mainly to protect ADO from possible warranty conflicts in the future. Upon ADO receiving the goods, each item will be checked against the accompanying ADO warranty form to ensure that all items match. Once that has been validated each item will be check for any physical damage. Should any physical damage be found, the item will be immediately returned to the customer with the item’s warranty deemed void. If the item is found to be physical defect free, the item will be tested to verify that the item is indeed faulty. Should the item be found to be faulty either an immediate replacement will be returned to the customer if we have stock of the item on hand. Otherwise the faulty item will be sent back to the supplier for repairs and will be returned to the customer as soon as ADO received the replacement from the supplier. However, there are a few items that will be replaced immediately. However, if the item is tested and found to be in good working condition, ADO reserves the right to charge the customer $15 per item found to be in good working condition. This is because it costs ADO a great deal of time and money to conduct strenuous tests on items, which are in good working condition. To avoid any inconvenience to all parties, ALL ITEMS SHOULD BE TESTED BEFORE BEING RETURNED TO ADO.
